CAAWA Selective Exhibition 2017

Members of the Ceramic Arts Association of WA

25 March to 30 April 2017

Official Opening: Friday, 24 March 2017

Established in 1993, the Ceramic Arts Association of WA (CAAWA) is a not for profit organisation run by members aiming to promote all aspects of handmade pottery and ceramic sculpture to anyone with an interest in the subject.

The Members Selective Exhibition is a showcase of ceramic artworks by members of CAAWA. The exhibition is presented every second year by the Association.  All the members, be they students, hobbyists or professional potters, are invited to submit pieces for selection.

A guest judge with vast experience in the arts is invited by the committee to select the artwork for each exhibition and, from the final selection, nominate artists for awards. In 2017 the guest judge was internationally acclaimed artist Pippin Drysdale.
