Assistant Gallery Curator - Permanent, part time (30.4 hours per week) opportunity, up to $79,918 per annum pro rata inclusive of superannuation (maximum cash salary of up to $70,104 per annum pro rata)

 

The Heathcote Cultural Precinct houses a Gallery, Museum, Shop and the Children's School of Contemporary Art along with 40+ creative tenants on site in our five state heritage listed buildings. If you have a passion for working in the arts, can provide excellent administration and customer service, and are energetic enough for a friendly, fast-paced, professional work environment, we'd love to hear from you.

The role is to assist the Gallery Curator and sometimes lead in the preparation of exhibitions, publications, public programming and site management related to the precinct. Assisting in developing web-based material and online access and social media content is also an important focus of this role. To be successful in this role, applicants must, together with their tertiary qualifications, demonstrate knowledge of the arts in Perth as well as knowledge of the core business of HCP and have a demonstrated commitment to a career in curatorship.
