Greg Barr

A proud Ballardong Noongar man, Greg is a naturally gifted artist who enjoys creating large-scale works using a range of innovative painting techniques and mediums. His family, Aboriginal heritage and love of country music are his main inspirations. Greg has exhibited in many local exhibitions including Revealed: Emerging Aboriginal Artists from WA at the Fremantle Arts Centre, the City of South Perth Emerging Art Award, and the annual As We Are Art Award for WA artists with intellectual disability. In 2017 Greg held his first solo exhibition at the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery in Fremantle.

 

In addition to painting, Greg’s additional creative endeavors include ceramics, woodwork & pyrography, photography, and playing the didgeridoo.
