CAAWA Annual Selective Exhibition 2013

Ceramics Association of WA

13 April to 19 May 2013

This exhibition showcases a range of clay-inspired works created by CAAWA members. CAAWA is a not-for-profit organisation run by members aiming to promote all aspects of handmade pottery and ceramic sculpture to anyone with an interest in the subject.

Guest selector, Professor Ted Snell AM CitWA, was invited not only to select and open the show but also to present awards. The Kusnik Award, an award of excellence, is named in honour of our esteemed colleague Mike Kusnik and is the major award. A Judge’s Award and three Honourable Mentions are also awarded.

This year CAAWA has introduced a People’s Choice Award with visitors to the exhibition invited to vote for their favorite piece.
