Brent Harrison

Cultural Services Assistant


Brent Harrison is an artist and curator based in Perth, Western Australia. In 2016 he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from Curtin University. Recent exhibitions include looking now anyone here?, Paper Mountain (2019) and You Can’t See Rainbows Looking Down, Cool Change Contemporary (2018). He was a finalist in the City of Joondalup Invitation Art Prize (2020) and has undertaken residencies at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA), Fremantle Arts Centre and Curtin University.

Alongside his artistic practice, Harrison also works as a Gallery Attendant at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts and as a Visitor Information Assistant at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Harrison was selected to participate in the Australia Council's Professional Development Program at the 2019 Venice Biennale and curated HERE&NOW20: Perfectly Queer at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.
